Animal Imaging is a referral veterinary practice that provides out-patient veterinary diagnostic imaging services for both small animal and equine patients. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills that will help us provide both a professional and efficient experience to our referring veterinarians and their clients. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a necessity for this position. Candidates must be dependable, flexible and eager to assist our clients as well as the entire Animal Imaging team. Only candidates with at least one year of experience in the veterinary field will be considered.

Animal Imaging has an immediate opening for a full time board certified or board eligible on-site radiologist and immediate openings for contract teleradiologists. Both openings are available to those that are focused on small animal medicine only.

Animal Imaging is an out-patient veterinary diagnostic imaging center located in Irving, Texas that currently employs three on-site board certified radiologists. We feature a collaborative and supportive environment with fellow radiologists and our outstanding team of certified technicians. Animal Imaging is unique in that we offer a broad range of imaging services to our clients.

Animal Imaging performs the following in-house studies for both companion animals and equine patients.

  • MRI (Siemens Verio 3 Tesla)
  • CT (Siemens 4 slice), standing CT for the horse
  • Diagnostic nuclear medicine (i.e. skeletal, renal-GFR, thyroid, transplenic scintigraphy)
  • Radiology (Eklin 14×17 digital DR system)
  • Ultrasound (MyLab Gold units)
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Teleradiology (using the DVM Insight reporting platform)

Animal Imaging is also seeking the assistance of available contract radiologists to assist with the management of our teleradiology case load.

Our current teleradiology case load is managed by our on-site clinical radiologists and a group of talented contract radiologists. We are seeking to expand our list of contract radiologists to help manage our radiology, ultrasound and cross-sectional teleradiology submissions. We currently use the DVM Insight reporting platform. Animal Imaging is a referral veterinary practice that provides out-patient veterinary diagnostic imaging services for both small animal and equine patients. At Animal Imaging, quality patient care is paramount. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and technical skills that will help us provide both a professional and efficient experience to our referring veterinarians, clients and patients. Candidates should be comfortable around a horse; however, technical experience with horses is not required.

Job Description:
Our team of talented technicians are dependable, flexible and have a strong work ethic. Technicians monitor patient anesthesia for multiple imaging modalities including MRI, CT and portal scintigraphy as well as assist with other imaging procedures.
